The Lonely Goose

Here is my latest painting. I call it "Lonely Goose". Canada Geese mate for life. When something happens to one, the other one will spend a long time looking for their lost partner. They mourn for a very long time. We see this guy in Tonawanda Creek swimming by himself every day.



I try to paint daily. I like to finish my paintings quickly. I used to spend months on one painting because I wanted it to be perfect. I found that instead of perfection I got stagnation.

When I no longer enjoy working on a painting it shows.  

Paint quickly, don't fear mistakes, and above all else, enjoy yourself!
